Sea journeys were only way of transport to far off countries separated by seas .We should thank ship inventor and innovators for growth of Human civilization.Voyages led to discovery of news places like Australia ,America and West Indies.
Each place had its own physical commodities , mental ideas,culture and its philosophy about social and spiritual living .To spread those commodities between the nations and to contribute to welfare overall Human civilization ,sea voyages were invaluable.Food and drinking water was major issue during those journeys.Their best bet was to keep the all required stock in the ship.There was also good option to fill the stock between halts.Voyagers had to survive to the weather of new places.
Anchor were used to protect the ship during heavy storms.Proper direction of voyage was also important aspect of this travel.Voyages were long and were guided by direction of stars.They separated innocent lovers, brothers,loving sons from their parents.Men went to new land for trade of their commodities.They returned or never returned back from the dark seas.After long voyages when they return to their home ,they will notice whole place has changed around them.I dream to go in ship some day in life.

Ram, I would like to share a revelation that I have had during my time here. There are different kinds of people here. Most people are douches. Being a douche is not really a problem. For the major part, douches bring harm only upon themselves, which isnt bad, for sexual intercourse makes sure that the douche-dna continues to run wild in the gene pool even after the douches have jumped off the cliff. Occasionally the douche does bring harm to the society, unknowingly, which again isnt too bad, after all the society is filled mostly with douches. There is another kind of douche though, which deliberately engages in dick waving and forces its dick on the throats of not just other douches but also on the small proportion of relatively normal people and trigger bad chemicals in them which transforms them into douches. Examples of such dick waving douches would be Bush, Bush Jr, Osama, Lalit Modi. Coming to the point, what kind of douche one chooses to be is a matter of personal choice. All I wanted to do is congratulate you on the choice you have made and wish you luck.
